Susan Gibson, an associate of the firm will discuss the rights afforded to nursing mothers and the obligations of their employers under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) at the Breastfeeding Resource Center in Abington, PA on Monday, October 19th. The event, entitled, “Back to Work Celebration Workshop” will be in the Center’s Abington office, located at 1355 Old York Road, Suite 101, from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. Susan will also highlight the full range of other legal protections provided to nursing mothers (who may or may not be protected by the FLSA) as they return to work. Susan is an experienced family law attorney who has a special interest in advocating for nursing mothers by educating them and others about nursing mothers’ legal rights.
